U.N. FAILS TO REACH ACCORD ON ROCKET LAUNCH

An emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council has concluded
without an official reaction to North Korea’s decision to ignore
repeated international warnings and launch a long-range rocket,
the council president told reporters.
